Technical Administrator Food Manufacturing Salary £27,000 + Hours: Monday - Friday Day Based

It will initially be a 12-month maternity cover . Key Responsibilities: A duty of care towards Food Safety culture, authenticity, quality, legality, and safeguarding traceable requirements. Ensure all new staff are inducted as per the staff induction. Review label check sheets to ensure that corrective action has been carried out. Complaint handling, ensuring that the monthly complaints list is circulated to all recipients. Daily sign off all factory completed documents, reviewing process controls to ensure that corrective action has been carried out. Filing of completed documents (future to be scanned onto the system to ease with site audits & traceability). Issue blank documents for the factory, ensuring that these are the correct versions via the Senior Technical Manager. Process laboratory entries for swab testing. Review micro certificates against company micro specifications. Maintain the site's training matrices – ensure CCPs are on an annual basis for refresher training. Apply for export health certificates. Essential Skills and Experience: - A degree in Food Science or a related field, or substantial experience in a QA role within the food manufacturing sector. - Strong understanding of food safety regulations and quality assurance principles. - Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail. - Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
