£15 per hour . The client is a multinational high-street retailer. Role Summary

To provide effective support to the departmental Lead Technologists, Technologists and Assistant Technologists. Key Accountabilities of the Role

Contribute as an active member of the team to work within a commercially focused culture and support the Fabric Technologist and Sustainability teams where required. Be aware of product critical path management. Understanding of PLM system – Including CP Management and reporting. Be aware of fabric development process and support Fabric Technologist to upload supporting documents to PLM. Communicate information to Fabric Technologist, Project Managers and wider Fabric & Sustainability team. Understanding of project management and achieving key deadlines. Support technology teams with PLM fabric library management to ensure clean data input, consolidation of like materials and correct documentation is available for approval and traceability. Be aware of cost engineering at Fabric Development stage to ensure all products are optimised commercially whilst still meeting required standards. Prepare relevant reports relating to projects to support Fabric technologist. Support fabric technical team in maintaining up to date physical and virtual fabric libraries. Support colour team in managing and distribution of standards - Ordering and distribution of new palette standards to design teams (Assisting on new supplier set up and ordering of further standards). Be aware of fabric manufacturing and processing. Key Skills and Experience

Basic understanding of Product development process. Computer literate strong excel skills and knowledge of PLM systems. Good organisational skills and an eye for detail. Multitask orientated with the ability to work to deadlines to achieve the Buying critical path. Understanding of the buying process. Ability to embrace change and strive to embed new process and ways of working. Seniority Level
