Technical Administrator

to join our dynamic team! We are looking for a dedicated individual who has a passion for administration and organisation. In the role of Technical Administrator, you will collaborate with the Compliance Coordinator to guarantee adherence to BRC standards, legislation, and customer demands. Your primary focus will be to uphold Technical Governance at the Sherburn site through the establishment of resilient systems encompassing Food Safety, Integrity, Quality, Legality, and Hygiene, ensuring continuous compliance and excellence. Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks designated by the compliance coordinator. Compile accurate and punctual KPI reports for both site and customers, and prominently display these on the site's Technical notice boards. Handle administration and document control for quality management systems at the Sherburn Site. Take ownership of the site document control log, document library, and distribution of any new or updated documents. Collaborate with the Compliance Coordinator in reviewing and revising site procedures and documents as necessary during annual updates and in accordance with customer codes of practice. Manage the calibration schedule and certificates in coordination with the engineering team to ensure all equipment remains calibrated. Provide support to the technical team during internal and external audits, addressing any non-conformances raised. Conduct internal audits as needed. Assist the Internal Audit and Hygiene Supervisor in managing customer codes of practice and related administrative tasks. Coordinate and oversee purchase orders required for Technical and Hygiene teams, working closely with the Technical Manager, QA Manager, Compliance Coordinator, and Internal Audit and Hygiene Supervisor. Handle complaints reports, spreadsheets, investigation issuance, and logging of resolved complaints from the QA team. Analyse complaints data to produce trending reports and facilitate complaints reduction meetings. Qualifications

Essential: Highly organised with time management Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams) Prioritisation skills Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. Confident presenting and promoting ideas. Building relationships Influence and communicate. Strong communication skills Strong organisation skills Experience in administration role(s) Desirable: Previous experience within food manufacturing Experience of retailer codes of practice/BRC requirements HACCP training Food safety training Rewards & Benefits
