Carlisle NXT are excited to present an opportunity for an individual to work with one of the leading suppliers of sustainable and eco-friendly building products in the UK. The Role You will provide an efficient technical service in conjunction with the technical team, creating and retaining demand for the company’s range of ecological products. Key Duties and Responsibilities To provide technical sales advice and support to a customer base of Architects, Surveyors, Builders, Contractors, and homeowners. To provide full technical support to customers by evaluating drawings and optimizing thermal performance and airtightness of the building envelope through their product range. To provide U Value calculations, condensation risk analysis, and possible Hygrothermal analysis. To provide CPDs to architects and to input and help to develop CPD packages. Delivering talks to various groups and organizations as required. Researching and keeping updated on Building Regulations/Legislation/Technical development. Providing product information and education. Creating and maintaining customer details and projects on Hubspot CRM. Providing pre-sale and after-sales support for customers. Attending conferences, exhibitions, and trade shows. Preferred Skills & Experience Higher education in construction with a degree level preferable or a certified Passivhaus Designers / Consultant / Contractor. 5 years minimum experience in the construction industry. An active working knowledge of topics such as Insulation, Passivhaus principles, project specification with architects, building site visit experience, building regulation knowledge, U value, and Dew Point analysis. A proven ability to close off specifications and sales would be preferable. Progressive thinking to ensure that company products are at the forefront in the UK. Excellent verbal communication skills and confidence talking both over the phone and in person. High level of written communication and the ability to write enthusiastically about the products. High level of interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally.
