The role of the Technical Specification Advisor – Sustainable Building Products will involve: Selling a high-quality range of sustainable/eco-friendly products such as airtight systems, insulation, structural boards, attic hatches, tapes, membranes, and adhesives. Offering technical advice to architects, surveyors, builders, contractors, and homeowners regarding evaluating drawings and optimizing thermal performance and airtightness of the building envelope through our client’s product range. Conducting U-value calculations, condensation risk analysis, and possible hygrothermal analysis. Conducting CPDs for architects and assisting in the development of CPD packages. Providing eco-friendly solutions for buildings, including wind & air tightness, damp & mould, passivhaus, heat & cold, soundproofing, and ventilation. Providing hands-on training to customers and other members of staff. Qualifications

The ideal applicant will have: In-depth understanding of insulation, air tightness, Passivhaus principles, project specification with architects, building site visit experience, building regulation knowledge, U-value, and dew point analysis. Experience from a related product background such as insulation, passive house, airtight & windtight systems, membranes, internal breathable insulation, structural boards, hatches, and sealants adhesives. Experience liaising with architects & surveyors. Related higher education (Construction Engineering, Architecture & Environmental) would be highly advantageous. Certification as a Passivhaus Designer/Consultant, Certified Passivhaus Contractor, or Retrofit qualification (e.g., Carbonlite) is desirable. Ability to work autonomously.
