Job Description We are looking for a Technical Agile Delivery Manager to join our Platform and Technology teams. Your mission is to make Platform and Tech teams the best in Fintech. Your work will be framed by three questions: Requirements gathering: Do the engineers and stakeholders have all the information and knowledge needed to deliver value for our customers? Delivery: What can be done to identify and remove all impediments faced by the teams in delivering value for our customers? What metrics will support the team to make incremental improvements to their ways of working? Do stakeholders have visibility over the delivery information they need? Agile & lean practices: How can we ensure a culture of continuous learning when it comes to agile and lean practices, so the team becomes more engaged, more effective and more efficient? What you'll get to do? Requirements gathering Understand what's impeding the ability of our engineers to quickly & sustainably deliver value for our customers. Support engineers in gathering requirements on things like developer workflows & tooling. Work with internal & external teams to develop and maintain technical documentation. Ensure requirements are detailed enough to take into sprint, including functional & non-functional requirements. Be clear about the definition of ready and the definition of done. Delivery , work closely with the Engineering Manager & Product Manager on the following: Gather detailed requirements relating to new features & products to be delivered by the Platform and Technology teams. Work with the Platform and Technology team to help turn requirements (epics) into user stories and tasks with clear acceptance criteria for the engineers. Improve flow efficiency. Do what is needed to unblock the scrum team during the sprint. Stakeholder management. Report and manage operational delivery metrics. Agile & lean practices: Lead/coordinating standard agile ceremonies. Suggest improvements to agile ways of working to increase productivity & employee engagement. This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs. Qualifications Experience working alongside an infrastructure, DevOps, SRE, CI/CD or similar type of team. Proven experience in an Agile Delivery Manager, Scrum Master or Business Analyst role, preferably in a software-first Fintech or start-up, or you're a software engineer looking to move into Delivery Management. Comfortable working with agile frameworks like Scrum or Kanban. In-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles, with real experience in creating working environments that adhere to them. Proven track record of chasing down impediments to deliver value for customers and business. Ability to define a product backlog using standard categories like epics & user stories. Knowledge of, and interest in, the following: AWS tools and technologies, Kubernetes, CI/CD tools and techniques, Infrastructure as code using e.g. Terraform or CloudFormation or Cloud Native practices. Experience working in a technical delivery role such as Software Engineer or QA engineer will be an advantage. Additional Information Visa is an EEO Employer.
