A growing company known for being ahead of the curve with its tech-forward approach in the financial/investment sector is looking for a Technical Architect.

This position will primarily concentrate on designing and implementing applications that support their investment offerings, as well as advancing the capabilities of the investment data platform. The role will be working out of the Glasgow or Edinburgh office with a hybrid working pattern of 2/3 days a week in office.

The ideal candidate will be experienced and self-assured with extensive knowledge of modern technologies, capable of adopting a practical yet methodical approach to creating and delivering mission-critical applications.

Responsibilities:

Helping shape the company-wide architectural design decisions and principles. Developing applications with stakeholders. Providing guidance on architecture solutions. Keeping up to date with the newest tools, techniques, and practices. Producing technical and design documentation through the full lifecycle.

Requirements:

Experience with .NET, C#, Angular, R. Worked in a DevOps environment contributing to agile software delivery. Knowledge of the financial and investment sector and domain. Strong experience in technical and architectural design with large-scale web applications. Worked with Azure cloud and associated technologies.

Benefits:

£70k-£80k DOE Great team culture of likeminded people. Hybrid working either out of the Glasgow or Edinburgh offices. Working with the most up-to-date technology.
