The role overview: As a Technical Architect specialising in SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), you will play a key role in designing technical architecture, completing technical developments, and leading the delivery of high-spec technical SAP EWM solutions across multi-industry customer projects and support services. This includes driving innovation and the development of The Config Team's proprietary software products and helping with the coaching, mentoring, and professional development of colleagues within the Technical Team. Technical Solution Design and Delivery : Develop, implement, and lead technical SAP Supply Chain solutions with an SAP EWM focus tailored to customer needs. Technical Architecture Leadership : Provide strategic architecture guidance during design, build, and system governance phases. Build relationships as a trusted advisor, attend and lead workshops, and support project go-lives. Colleague Mentoring : Mentor colleagues and act as a trusted technical advisor to functional teams and customer stakeholders. Technical Project Support : Support technical projects and ensure successful delivery. Product Innovation : Contribute to The Config Team’s products, suggesting and implementing improvements. Required Technical Skills, Experience, and Knowledge Essential Extensive technical development experience within SAP EWM. Proven experience as a primary SAP technical authority with full lifecycle SAP EWM project experience. Desirable Functional understanding of SAP EWM and other SAP Supply Chain modules.
