Responsibilities

Create and maintain UE5 blueprints and animation systems. Take ownership and responsibility for animation blueprints and systems. Keep to project vision for best practices, methodologies used, and quality benchmarks. Work with the wider art, design, and code teams to champion best technical practices. Provide constructive critique and solutions during reviews. We are seeking an experienced Technical Artist with proven technical art skills and extensive experience using Unreal, working on console titles to join our award-winning team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a AAA IP where you will be responsible for bridging the gap between the art and design teams, setting up animation blueprints and systems, and supporting the art and animation teams using Maya. This is a great opportunity to work with a team of passionate and experienced designers on a AAA project. Requirements

Experience working as a Technical Artist on at least one published console title. Proven experience working within Unreal Engine 5. Strong proficiency with UE5 blueprints and animation state machines. Proven experience working with Maya and its ecosystem. Strong proficiency in Python and MEL scripting. Familiarity with in-game animation processes and workflows. Experience in using version control systems. Possess excellent knowledge of math. Experience in character rigging and skinning (advantageous but not crucial). Ability to work collaboratively with artists, animators, designers, and programmers. A passion for creative challenges and motivation to make great games. Experience in helping to plan and schedule workflows.
