Technical Artist

to join our creative team and contribute to the development of visually stunning Avatar characters that empower self-expression. What You'll Do: As a Senior Character Artist, you will: Create Engaging Content:

Design visually appealing Avatar clothing and various characters and creatures that resonate with our audience. Meet Production Goals:

Deliver high-quality production content on time, ensuring that all characters, clothing, and variants meet our specifications. Collaborate Effectively:

Build strong working relationships with art, animation, and technical art teams, fostering a collaborative environment. Support External Collaborators:

Work with external vendors, providing constructive feedback on the artistic and technical aspects of their models and textures. What We’re Looking For: Minimum Qualifications: Team Player:

Strong communication skills with the ability to both give and receive feedback, as well as provide creative direction. Impressive Portfolio:

Showcase your excellent character creation and design skills along with your ability to deliver this content to runtime systems. Technical Expertise:

Practical experience in setting character asset quality, delivering assets to game engines, and troubleshooting any related bugs. Software Proficiency:

Highly skilled in relevant software packages such as Maya, Z-Brush, Substance, and commercial Game Engines. Anatomical Knowledge:

Excellent understanding of human anatomy with the ability to stylise it according to established art guides. Low-Poly Mastery:

Strong grasp of low-poly creation methods for real-time platforms like mobile and VR. Preferred Qualifications: Fashion Forward:

Experience in costume design and a keen appreciation for current fashion trends. Outsourcing Experience:

Familiarity with working alongside outsourcers or external contributors. Skinning Skills:

Ability to skin character models and adjust geometry for optimal deformation.
