Technical Author - Manufacturing

£35,000 + 33 days holiday + Benefits Package Working Hours:
Monday - Friday, 39 hours Excellent opportunity for either an experienced technical author or a degree-educated individual with a qualification in technical writing to join an industry-leading machinery manufacturer in Telford. The company is well established and a leading manufacturer of specialist precision engineering equipment supplied globally to customers across various sectors including food and beverage, automotive, and aerospace. This newly created role supports the company's excellent growth period. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain technical documentation. Write, edit, and review documentation. Conduct research and liaise with engineering through NPD and production phases. Interpret engineering drawings to produce manuals from scratch and amend existing documentation. Candidate Requirements: Technical writing experience within engineering. Familiarity with engineering standards (ISO, CE). Experience with mechanical or mechatronic systems.
