Job Description - Grade Specific
Your Role as Technical Author – System Configuration Leading the continuous improvement of the current user guide creation system. For example, a system overhaul switching from a slide based system to Cortona or similar. Implementation of a Darwin Information Typing Architecture (DITA) system for user guide creation. Good working knowledge of Siemens NX and Teamcenter. Working knowledge of Siemens Capital is beneficial but not a pre-requisite. Supporting the Technical Author – User Guide Publication team:
Reviewing User Acceptance Test (UAT) scripts and button click inputs. Using these inputs to produce user guides for specific applications (Siemens NX, Teamcenter and Capital). This requires working in the applications and taking relevant snapshots to relate to the UAT scripts and button clicks. Producing voice over AVIs for each user guide.
