THE COMPANY
Our client, a well-established and successful registered charity with several impressive venues across the South, has been going through an exciting period of expansion over the last few years. The charity’s venues host a huge variation of events across the year – from pantomimes to huge high-profile stars, they see a whole mix come through their venues doors!
This role will be based from their Bournemouth venue, with a number of multi-purpose spaces for their events and live shows and productions.
THE ROLE
As they head into a busy events schedule, the business is on the lookout for a Technical Supervisor to help deliver fantastic services across lighting, audio, stage management, and more! You will be hands-on and ensure successful delivery for the events while working closely with the wider technical team.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
Operate different areas of AV including lighting, sound, and other components.
Act as a main point of contact for upcoming events and productions.
Oversee and support with load-in, production set up, design, and pack-down of events.
Ensure health and safety is adhered to at all times.
Provide leadership to the wider technical team.
THE CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate will have strong experience within the technical production and delivery of live events. Hands-on, working knowledge of different AV disciplines including staging, live sound, and lighting is highly important, along with the ability to manage tight deadlines.
Strong knowledge of health and safety management is a key factor in this role – and you will have strong experience overseeing the safe delivery of events.
