Not defined Job Description: A Snapshot of Your Day As a Technical Bid Manager at Siemens Energy, you will play a crucial role in delivering competitive offerings to our clients. You will collaborate with colleagues across the globe and the organization, working closely with account and sales managers to set bid strategies and discuss priorities and actions. Your responsibilities will include overseeing projects from concept phase to execution, liaising with engineers, project managers, and other bid managers. You will also be involved in organizing kick-off meetings for new projects and conducting technical verifications for bids. Additionally, you will gather information and explain bid strategies to management when bids are due for submission. How You'll Make an Impact As a Technical Bid Manager, you have the opportunity to be a change agent for industrial decarbonization and contribute to the energy transition from fossil fuels to renewable sources. You will apply and obtain knowledge in electrification and energy storage systems, such as Batteries, H2, Power to X, and CAES. Your experience in industrial automation and digitalization will help innovate energy production and distribution. By integrating human and business interests, you will contribute to sustainable project goals while promoting environmental sustainability and economic stability. What You Bring Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or combined Business and Engineering. Project management experience and familiarity with managing large industrial projects. Knowledge/experience in large drives, rotating equipment such as Turbines, MV switchgear will be an asset. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Broad commercial and contractual understanding to successfully interact with customers, management/colleagues, and external stakeholders. Proactive, collaborative, analytical thinking, decision-making, result-oriented, and good communication skills. Flexibility, creativity, and an open-minded view. Accurate and detail-oriented. Very good command of English, both written and spoken. Executing Solution Projects in West-Europe As part of our West-Europe-Operations team, we are expanding our UK team. While our focus is on UK clients, we collaborate with global teams in Serbia, Brazil, India, and Singapore. You will have access to the support you need from these teams, depending on the situation. Our EAD team specializes in sales, design, construction, and maintenance of advanced solutions in the Electrical, Automation, and Digitalization environment.
