Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst with a strong consulting background to join our London-based product team. The ideal candidate will bring consulting expertise to help shape and evolve our product suite while acting as a bridge between client needs and technical delivery. This role offers unique exposure across the entire product lifecycle, from requirements gathering and analysis through to implementation and client success. Key Accountabilities - Leverage consulting experience to analyse business processes, create prototypes, and specify product enhancements that align with both client needs and strategic vision - Transform complex client requirements into clear product specifications and feature recommendations - Lead discovery sessions with clients to understand their business challenges and translate them into product opportunities - Work closely with internal teams (developers, testers, support) to ensure successful solution delivery - Collect and analyse system data and client feedback to identify product improvement opportunities - Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and industry challenges - Contribute to and maintain product documentation, training materials, user guides and release notes - Support the sales team with product demonstrations, presentations and proof of concept demos Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience - Proven Business Analyst experience as a delivery/implementation consultant, solution architect, or technical analyst - Background in financial services, particularly in research, investment management, or fintech preferred - 5-10 years of relevant experience, including client-facing roles - Experience with Agile development methodologies - Strong analytical skills with ability to navigate complex data, establish facts, and draw clear conclusions - Proactive and enthusiastic approach with excellent communication skills for building consensus and influencing stakeholders - Highly organised and detail-oriented with ability to produce clear, concise documentation in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint - Strong SQL and Excel proficiency - Ability to build consensus through mockups and prototypes, combining web design and data skills What We Offer - Opportunity to work with cutting-edge financial technology - Exposure to global financial markets and institutions - Collaborative team environment - Central London location - Competitive salary and benefits package This role offers an excellent opportunity for a technical business analyst looking to make a significant impact in the fintech sector while working with leading financial institutions worldwide.
