Summary of position

The Technical Business Analyst aligns information technology with business operations and processes, helping to provide insight into the feasibility of the project. The role is within the Technology function at Qualco UK; a rapidly expanding and ambitious technology company, working within the Collections & Recoveries sector of the Financial Services Industry. Our clients range from utilities and telecoms companies, banks and lending companies. We seek to establish excellent client relationships to empower our clients to improve their portfolio performance by using our innovative technology. The Technical Business Analysts support the Senior Project Managers, working as part of the development team. Key responsibilities

Reporting to the Senior Project Managers the Technical Business Analyst will: Be the point of contact for analysis and requirement gathering on technical and business issues and Change Requests. Work with clients, business teams and developers to establish requirements and designs. Produce technical specifications for business to be worked on by the development teams. Participate in project work, delivering tasks to agreed deadlines and providing status updates. Identify and deliver operational enhancements. Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes for more productive outcomes. Ability to work concurrently in multiple projects. Required skills/experience

The ideal candidate will have: Excellent communication (written, verbal and presentation) and interpersonal skills. Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands. Excellent ability to manage priorities and scheduling. Strong experience in software development cycles and sprints. Strong analysis skills including evidence of an understanding, and improvement of process, systems and technology. Strong experience in collaborating with other teams, particularly providing input and feedback on requirements and design. Good understanding of web application and APIs. Ability to produce wireframe designs. Ability to work on scaled projects and deadlines. Excellent skills in MS Office suite of products. Proven, demonstrable interest in technology. The following knowledge would be beneficial: Project management tools. Programming background. Knowledge of the Collections & Recoveries Industry. Some understanding of Data Protection legislation and business Information Security requirements. Knowledge and experience of Compliance and Risk.
