Technical Business Development Manager
Technical Business Development Manager focuses on develop and grow pipeline activity to meet and exceed sales and margin targets.
What the role involves
- Develop and grow pipeline activity to meet and exceed sales and margin targets.
- Delivering technical sales solutions across motors, drives, actuators, gearboxes and motion systems.
- Work closely with Applications Engineers to deliver strategic and technically complex projects.
- Supporting customers in product design and development with a strong technical bias.
- Managing and expand existing accounts through structured account management.
- Maintaining accurate CRM records of all sales activities, visits and pipeline progression.
Skills and requirements
- Key skills required for the Technical Business Development Manager role covering the UK.
- Strong background in motors, drives and gearboxes (motion control experience essential).
- Technical qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (HNC/HND or higher preferred).
