Technical Consultant , you'll be the go-to IT Manager for a diverse set of clients, guiding them through long-term strategic decisions. Your role will be instrumental in shaping their IT infrastructure, providing both proactive and reactive support, and spearheading cutting-edge technology projects. What You’ll Do: Act as a trusted IT advisor, helping clients develop long-term IT strategies and maintaining an IT roadmap for at least 12 months. Provide top-notch on-site technical support and act as an escalation point for helpdesk teams. Identify and implement infrastructure improvements, ensuring clients benefit from the latest tech. Plan, manage, and deliver innovative IT projects that exceed client expectations. Create and maintain technical documentation for knowledge sharing and client support. Present clear, client-facing documents such as proposals and reports, offering solutions to business challenges. Collaborate closely with regional teams to ensure consistent and exceptional client experiences. What You’ll Bring: 12+ months of IT consultancy experience and 3+ years in IT support. Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 (Azure knowledge is a plus). Expertise in server administration, networking, firewalls, antivirus, and disaster recovery solutions. A proactive attitude toward professional development, with a desire to pursue Microsoft certifications (Associate level or above). Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and creative problem-solving skills. A clear understanding of GDPR and UK data privacy laws.
