About Us: We are recruiting for a leading company in the new build housing sector, committed to delivering high-quality, sustainable, and innovative homes. As part of the continued growth, we are looking for a dedicated and skilled Technical Coordinator to join the dynamic team and support the development and delivery of exceptional housing projects.

Role Overview: As a Technical Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the technical aspects of new build housing projects from inception through to completion. You will liaise closely with internal teams, contractors, and consultants, ensuring that all technical elements are in line with the design, build specifications, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and manage all technical aspects of the new build projects, including design development, technical documentation, and compliance with building regulations. Work closely with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure all technical and design information is accurate and up-to-date. Oversee the preparation of technical packages and ensure the effective delivery of materials and components. Resolve any technical queries or issues that arise during the construction phase. Liaise with project managers to track project progress and ensure technical aspects meet timelines. Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices throughout the project lifecycle. Support the pre-construction phase by reviewing design proposals and providing technical input. Assist in the preparation of health and safety plans and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations. Monitor and report on the technical aspects of projects, ensuring all key stakeholders are informed of progress.

Requirements: A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field. Previous experience (3+ years) in a technical role within the new build housing sector. Strong understanding of construction processes, technical drawings, and building regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with various stakeholders. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and technical software such as AutoCAD or similar. A problem-solving mindset with the ability to address technical challenges as they arise. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
