A crucial part of our strategy is to consolidate data from various sources into a single, reliable, and consistent source for data analytics across the business. We are seeking a Technical Data Product Owner to collaborate closely with Data Analytics teams, Technical Delivery teams, and other Product Owners with data needs as part of their delivery, working directly with end users and stakeholders to ensure that data delivery meets their expectations and needs. How you'll help us make health happen:

Lead creation of datasets working with various technical and business stakeholders to ensure they are easily understood and reusable across all BDC teams. Own the product strategy, roadmap, and execution of one or more data streams (e.g., Stakeholder, Product Owner, User, Technical Delivery, Business Information Services). Chair and coordinate one or more working groups, involving relevant business and technical stakeholders in decision-making. Lead the creation, governance, and management of data models. Identify, clarify, and document data model entities and their business data definitions. Develop a value-led backlog for the team building the datasets, documenting and explaining new requirements using Epics, Feature Product Backlog Items, and acceptance criteria. Establish processes to support requirements and get stakeholder acceptance through coffee shop testing, user acceptance, and reviews. Implement a robust change process to assess the potential impact of new features on existing business processes and minimize issues. Manage and resolve master data management queries related to datasets. Support the development of effective Master Data requirements through a solid understanding of Bupa processes, applications, and data. Assess opportunities to improve data quality at the source where it impacts data analytics teams' ability to derive value from various datasets. Communicate product strategy, roadmap, and deliverables to internal customers regularly, addressing their concerns and feedback. Champion data best practices, help increase data literacy across Bupa, and identify opportunities to improve Bupa's data analytics operating model. Take a proactive approach to your own continuous professional development. Minimum Requirements:

Experience with managing the development and delivery of a data product for an internal customer. Understanding of the fundamentals of the data lifecycle, including generation, collection, data quality, validation steps, and data flows between upstream and downstream systems. Experience in establishing and monitoring KPIs to measure value delivered. Excellent team player who can establish effective working relationships at all levels within the business. Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to deliver in complex and political environments. Able to understand the requirements of other IT stakeholders and work with them to create fully understood, refined, and prioritized Product Backlog Items. Proactive, self-learner, organized, and able to prioritize work in an agile, fast-moving environment. Ability to embrace change and maintain a positive approach to challenges. Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop clear insights for the business. Highly Desirable:

Knowledge of data architecture and modeling. Exposure to master data management. Experience with project management methods (e.g., agile, waterfall, Scrum). Experience working in agile teams. Commercial experience in a related sector (e.g., insurance, healthcare) or function (e.g., marketing). At Bupa, we're passionate about technology. With colleagues, customers, patients, and residents in mind, you'll have the opportunity to work on innovative projects and make a real impact on their lives. Benefits:

25 days holiday, plus the option to buy more. Discounts in over 7,000 retailers, discounted gym membership, and discounted dental insurance. Health Trust - our bespoke employee private healthcare plan, providing healthcare cover with no medical underwriting for colleagues and their families. Access to remote GP and nurse services, physiotherapy, and mental health support. MyHealthcare Allowance, an annual allowance redeemable against a menu of Bupa healthcare products. Early access to your earned wages through Wagestream. Cycle to work scheme. And many more. If you or someone you know would be interested in working with a dynamic and expanding healthcare business, with lots of support on offer, great benefits, and friendly teams, we would love to hear from you!
