Technical Director
to continue building on existing relationships and repeat business, developing an in-depth understanding of clients' needs to provide a tailored service which will add real value to their engineering solutions. The firm prefers their Directors to be practising engineers so they can take on full responsibility for projects within their remit. This personal involvement extends to team resourcing and training, as well as responding to client needs and project delivery. The Leeds office has seen an increase in successful project wins due to the lasting relationships forged within the structural, civil, and geo-environmental engineering sectors. Your strength is likely to align with these, with a strong background in building structures and developments. The role will require you to support the office Partner, managing business operations cohesively and focusing on additional leadership. They seek an enigmatic and driven individual who will develop new and existing clients with a view to increasing profitability. Can you provide the leadership and strategic direction needed, driving business and market penetration in the region? An effective networker, you will access clients and forge confidence in your team's ability to deliver. You will be a Chartered Engineer with a construction-related degree, who can demonstrate the skills required to fulfil this great opportunity. You will bring exceptional communication skills and a high level of commercial and business acumen. Good knowledge of construction contracts and professional agreements, along with experience in negotiating fee agreements, is essential.
