There is an exciting opportunity to lead a newly restructured technical leadership team at Kiro Race Co. Following a recent change in ownership, a dynamic rebrand and a new partnership with Cupra, Kiro Race Co is making moves as it transitions from a manufacturer programme to a customer team harnessing a Porsche Powertrain. As part of this shift, we are reorganising our engineering departments and are seeking a Technical Director to lead the charge on all technical matters in this new chapter of the team. Position Overview As Technical Director, you will shape and oversee Kiro Race Co’s long-term technical development, defining engineering methodologies and identifying key performance factors. You will support technical leads in maintaining a strategic vision, while guiding the engineering team to ensure our cars remain competitive, reliable, and regulation-compliant. Key Responsibilities Technical Leadership:

Set and execute the vision for vehicle configuration, performance, and energy efficiency. Team Management:

Lead, mentor, and inspire a top-level engineering team. Innovation & Compliance:

Drive research into new technologies and methodologies to constantly bolster performance. Project Oversight:

Manage engineering projects to deliver on time and within budget. Collaboration:

Work with cross-functional teams and external partners to support technical goals. Qualifications Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred. 10+ years in motorsport or automotive engineering with EV expertise. Proven leadership with a focus on team development and project management. Strong problem-solving, communication, and regulatory knowledge. Passion for motorsport and sustainable tech.
