We are looking for an ambitious Earthing Design Engineer to help develop the business during an exciting phase of growth. Key Skills Required:

Attention to detail Problem solving Teamworking, relationship-building, and influencing skills Communication & Leadership skills Hold a full, valid driving licence Flexibility to travel both in the UK and overseas A safety scheme card holder with experience in construction work Role & Responsibilities:

Survey, design, and testing of earthing systems within the utilities and construction sectors, including LV/HV/GIS Sub Stations, Power Generating Stations, Waste to Power Plants, Wind Farms, Telecommunications, Data Centres, Water Industry, and MOD infrastructure projects. Earthing system measurements (Soil Resistivity, Resistance Testing). Earthing system design and analysis using the CDEGS software suite. Project management of multiple small earthing design projects to ensure they remain within budget and time constraints. Assistance in the creation of competitive proposals/quotations for new packages of work. Overview of Duties:

The work will involve both construction site activities and office environments. Undertaking site investigations, assisting with specification development, assisting with system design, report writing, and consultancy work. Liaison with clients and contractors and providing technical support services for our products and services. Soil Resistivity testing/Fall of Potential Testing and continuity measurements. Working as part of a design team delivering design packages from feasibility to completion and handover. The production of detailed reports containing information including recorded test measurements, site photographs, and drawings. Use of design software. Background and Education Requirements:

Full training will be provided. An understanding of electrical/mechanical services and previous experience working on construction sites is preferred but not essential. An understanding of basic Health & Safety Regulations would be beneficial but not essential. This role may suit someone with an electrical background or an interest in electrical installations. This role offers the successful candidate career progression, leading to additional training and further opportunities to progress their career. Ideally, a member of an engineering institution or with a willingness to work towards registering with a suitable institution. You will be an integral part of the Earthing Team, ensuring the work is carried out in a safe, diligent, professional, and timely manner.
