Job Overview


We are seeking a proactive and dynamic Technical Engineer to join our client’s technical department. This role involves supporting experienced engineers to ensure smooth departmental operations and actively participating in a range of responsibilities within the department.

The department operates under ISO 9001 standards, prioritising zero defects, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement. The Technical Engineer will work closely with both customers and manufacturing teams, providing essential support and fostering strong customer relationships to ensure product quality and satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary technical contact for customer-specific queries, managing enquiries and ensuring timely resolution of customer concerns.
  • Lead new business enquiries through a structured system, including feasibility assessment, quotation, and sample submission.
  • Analyse and interpret technical information to generate and address in-house requirements.
  • Collaborate with team members to design, develop, and test technical solutions aligned with business requirements.
  • Maintain regular reporting to management on project status, activities, and accomplishments.

  • Identify issues and propose solutions to improve processes.
  • Enhance business processes through automation and innovation.
  • Report on project status and contribute to strategic objectives.

  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Manual Dexterity: Skill in building engineering samples or prototypes.
  • Research: Ability to gather technical information from various sources.
