First Achieve are looking for a talented Technical Engineer to play a key role in their growing Scotland-based engineering team.

About the Role As a Technical Engineer, you'll be at the heart of the action, overseeing the engineering of orders and bringing designs to life through CAD models and manufacturing drawings. You'll work closely with sales, engineering, and production teams to ensure every project is a success, from concept to completion.

What You'll Do: Engineer custom solutions from start to finish, ensuring customer requirements are met. Create and update 3D models and drawings in SolidWorks, turning concepts into reality. Select and specify the right equipment, ensuring technical precision and quality. Manage ERP data, including Parts and Bill of Materials, for seamless project execution. Support documentation processes, keeping everything running smoothly across sales, engineering, and manufacturing. Ensure full compliance with all SHEQ policies and procedures to maintain a safe, high-quality environment.

What You'll Bring: An HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering (or higher). 3+ years of hands-on experience in a mechanical engineering role. Advanced skills in CAD software (ideally SolidWorks) to produce detailed 3D models and technical drawings. Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably Epicor. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word. Bonus points for knowledge of rotating equipment.
