We are currently recruiting for a motivated and skilled Technical Engineer to join our client’s dynamic team at their Swadlincote location. You will be responsible for preparing accurate, competitive and detailed technical quotes.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Delivering precise technical quotes within designated timeframes, helping to meet customer service objectives.
Conducting assessments and calculations to support project specifications.
Specifying both standard off-the-shelf products and custom solutions designed specifically for unique project requirements.
Prepare fabrication drawings and issue confirmation drawings for customer approval.
Participating in occasional office and site visits to build customer relationships and address technical challenges firsthand.
What You’ll Bring:
To succeed in this role, you should have a relevant degree or equivalent qualification within an Engineering field, such as Civil, Structural, or Built Environment. We are looking for someone who can:
AutoCAD experience is desirable
Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a professional proficiency in Microsoft Office.
