Providing remote and onsite technical support at client sites, including planning, deployment and delivery of technical projects and proactive / reactive tasks. · Carry out technical tasks for clients to ensure all proactive and reactive items are completed · Assist with the planning and delivery of technical projects · Attend proactive site visits for clients to ensure contractual obligations are met. · Attend reactive client site visits to ensure escalated technical issues are resolved · Provide an activity report for all client visits so that the client has a record of work carried out · Make technical recommendations to the client that will improve their use of technology · Work alongside the account manager to ensure consistent service delivery to the client · Attend training programs to improve technical knowledge and personal development Knowledge and Experience · Typically would have at least 3 years’ experience working within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) or VAR/Reseller as a Field / Support Engineer or Service Desk Environment. · Ability to build and maintain relationships with various stakeholders in different environments. · Have experience in client facing roles · You should be able to deliver tasks to meet deadlines · Always deliver your work in line with best practice · You should be up to date with the latest Microsoft Technologies with knowledge of the Microsoft Cloud being essential · Intermediate-Advanced administration and troubleshooting skills in Microsoft 365/Office 365, Hyper-V and other virtualisation platforms. · Experience of setting up and supporting on premise server hardware and software, including Exchange, firewalls, antivirus, backup expertise and networking skills. · Understand the GDPR data privacy laws within the UK Qualities · We are looking for a friendly and hardworking individual · Have excellent verbal and written communication skills · You will have a drive to develop your career through training · You will have a positive and flexible approach to your work · Be diligent in the delivery of your tasks and able to follow process · Can prioritise and manage own workload · Operate in a professional manner · Have a calm and measured approach in pressured situations
