This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Band 4 Physiotherapy Technical Instructor post with the Acute Medical Physiotherapy Team working at Glan Clwyd Hospital. We are looking for an enthusiastic, positive and motivated individual who has the skills and ability to engage well with their patients and work both independently and as part of a team. Relevant evidence of experience in rehabilitation is desired. You would carry your own caseload of patients with supervision and support from qualified therapists. You will also have experience of using highly skilled handling techniques to facilitate patient movement and/or rehabilitation, implementing exercise and rehabilitation programmes. Main duties of the job

To assist the qualified physiotherapist in the overall physiotherapy management of patients in collaboration with carers, support workers, health staff and agencies. Under the direction and guidance of the qualified physiotherapist, to manage and be responsible for their own clinical caseload of clients, following therapeutic programmes in order to improve their physical abilities and to minimise disabilities. Knowledge

Knowledge of complex conditions Basic knowledge of anatomy and physiology Previous experience at Technical Instructor III level in Physiotherapy Previous NHS experience Skills
