As one of Microsoft's leading partners in the UK, specialising in Azure, Security, Dynamics 365, and Microsoft 365, we have a proven track record of success in delivering transformational IT services.

Position Overview: As a Technical Lead, you'll be designing and maintaining Azure cloud solutions that are customised to meet our client needs. You'll use best practices and automation to make everything run smoothly and efficiently. Part of your job will include keeping an eye on cloud resources, updating them as needed, fixing any security issues, and documenting what you do.

You'll need a solid background in development or infrastructure engineering, strong problem-solving skills, and experience with scripting languages and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Bicep or Terraform.

Day-to-day, you'll work closely with the Technical Architect and other Azure experts to enhance our managed services, explore new technologies, and boost our automation capabilities. Communication is key since you'll be working with both technical and non-technical folks to ensure everything is optimized for performance, cost, and scalability while staying compliant with industry standards.

Responsibilities: In this role, you can expect to: Collaborate with the Technical Architect and Azure-focused SMEs in our Cloud Centre of Excellence to maintain, develop, and improve platforms and tools for Azure Managed Services, emphasizing automation. Conduct research and development on new technologies that align with client environments. Regularly meet with cloud-centric management to support continuous service improvement (CSI) in our cloud offerings. Enhance automation capabilities by using monitoring tools and other technologies to streamline upgrades across various vendor endpoints. Assist in delivering large implementation projects to establish Network Operations Centres (NOC) and Azure Managed Services. Design, refine, and update implementation procedures, service guides, and acceptance criteria for the wider team. Set up and configure repeatable deployments of Azure resources. Implement governance and policy best practices to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Monitor resource usage and performance to optimize cost, performance, and scalability; develop automations and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates. Qualifications & Experience: The right candidate for this role will have experience of: Working as a developer or infrastructure / network engineer. Designing different Azure cloud solutions to meet different customer requirements. Using best practices to build unique Azure cloud solutions. Maintaining and monitoring Azure cloud solutions for availability and performance. Troubleshooting any security issues in Azure cloud solutions. Updating cloud resources with newly released features. Documenting solutions and implementations. Ideally you would also hold Microsoft Cloud-focused technical qualifications, such as AZ-900 or AZ-104 (or equivalent).

Hybrid working: This hybrid role, with a remote-first emphasis, necessitates being in the office or at a client site for 4 days each month. Each team within our organisation can decide how to implement this policy. If you have any questions after applying, please reach out to our recruitment team.

Our Selection Process: We are committed to ensuring an equitable experience for all candidates, regardless of race, religion or belief, ethnic or national origin, disability, age, citizenship, marital, domestic or civil partnership status, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other basis as protected by applicable law. Please do let us know if you'll need any reasonable adjustments as part of the selection process by highlighting these on your application form. As part of our commitment to our clients we will need to carry out background checks, including a criminal record check, for all offers of employment. If you have any unspent criminal convictions or questions about the screening process, please notify your recruiter once the application has been submitted.
