Walker Cole is currently supporting a well-established CDMO in hiring for a Principal Scientist. This person will have specific expertise in spray drying and provide technical support for the Formulation Development Scientists.
Responsibilities of Principal Scientist:
Lead and balance formulation development projects, combining hands-on work with team oversight.
Ensure the scientific integrity of Formulation Development studies, particularly in spray drying to meet regulatory and cGMP standards.
Mentoring and training junior team members.
Support business development by assessing technical RFPs, attending client meetings, and managing client relationships to drive departmental revenue growth.
Requirements of Principal Scientist:
Degree in a relevant scientific subject.
Experience developing drug product formulations and processes for Phase I, II, and III pharmaceutical development.
Strong hands-on expertise in pharmaceutical development, GMP manufacturing, and packaging processes.
