Technical Manager

Technical Manager focuses on ensure all critical systems (hv/lv, ups, standby power, hvac/cooling) are operated and maintained in line with best practice.

What the role involves

• Ensure all critical systems (HV/LV, UPS, standby power, HVAC/cooling) are operated and maintained in line with best practice.
• Review and approve technical documentation including RAMS, switching schedules, and SOPs.
• Ensure full compliance with health & safety procedures.
• Lead technical audits, ensuring full compliance with statutory and client requirements.
• Maintaining accurate and auditable engineering records and documentation systems.
• Leading incident investigations, producing detailed reports and implementing corrective actions.

Skills and requirements

• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations – essential.
• IOSH or equivalent health & safety qualification.
• Water hygiene (L8) knowledge.

Confirmed role details

• C£75,000-£80,000 + Car Allowance + Paid Overtime.
• Private Medical, Pension, 33 Days Holiday.
• Drive best practice, and play a key role in maintaining 100% uptime across the site.
• Support the development of engineering processes, procedures, and emergency response plans.
