Technical Manager - Civil Engineering Contractor
Highways, infrastructure, and drainage predominantly: Roads, Junction Improvements, 278 works, S38 works.
A very well established civil engineering contractor is seeking a Technical Manager to join its senior management team, working on pre-contract and during construction phases.
Responsibilities:
Management of project drawings at tender stage. Give advice to the estimating team. Check and manage all design drawings, and assess project suitability and construction tolerance. Provide value engineering methods (if any) and design advice to the team. Handle works from inception to project completion with the construction team. Produce and manage as-builts. Gain sign-offs from local authorities. Work with circa 5 engineers and manage 8-12 projects at any time. Projects valued from £500k to £15m. Salary and Benefits:
