Technical Manager

to join our

Concrete Division

based at our

Head Office

in

Huntingdon.

Responsibilities:

Ensure compliance within the wider framework of: The Health and Safety at Work Act Quality Assurance to ISO 9001/2000 EN206 BSI Kite Mark Accreditation Scheme Effectively monitor all concrete technical aspects of Mick George Concrete sites. Review specifications to produce Concrete Mix Designs. Close out all technical complaints and report back to Ops Director and MD. Report to the Concrete Board with a monthly technical report. Monitor and maintain Air and cube sampling rates. Discuss with admixture suppliers to understand performance of products to help engineer cost-effective performance mixes. Update Ready Minder with Mix Designs to make available for Quotes and Batching systems. Ensure concrete plants are batching correctly by checking batch records for compliance. Assist with Cemfloor orders to reduce risk of placements and performance. Be available for site visits when a technical complaint is received, ensuring they are logged and the customer is communicated with. Review CUSUM data and propose changes to batch books as necessary. Perform monthly admixture stock control checks. Benefits:
