ACR are currently working with a leading house builder based in Essex who, due to an extensive workload, are looking to recruit a Technical Manager to join their Special Projects division.
Working within a Special Projects department will guarantee you longevity and stability of work, allow you to work within the safest sectors of construction, and enable you to develop a variety of new skills. With a solid team structure consisting of 14 team members, there will be genuine opportunities for you to progress, and as you will be reporting into a highly experienced Senior Technical Manager, you will have an abundance of support.

Be the technical lead of a project from bid or tender through to completion. Delivery of technical duties through all stages of the project. Provide post-completion technical support as required. Act as the Client focal point and Construction Team Coordinator during the construction phase of the project. Manage the planning and delivery of infrastructure, including services and landscaping. Manage the delivery of work and/or expectations of key project stakeholders and customers, including project stakeholders, residential customers, external design consultants, and suppliers/contractors. Collate and review existing drawing information to establish accurate project data and specifications to prioritize remediation works. Review Visual Inspection Reports and assess the height of buildings. Discuss with the Fire Engineer to agree on the extent of potential works required and areas to open up to investigate existing external wall build-up, cladding types, and fire stopping. Review Intrusive Reports in conjunction with external Consultants and the Fire Engineer and agree with all parties the extent of works required. For this role, you will need experience working for a House Builder or Tier One Contractor.
