Westlakes Recruit are currently looking for a
Technical Manager , on a permanent basis to be located in West Cumbria.
The role will report to the Group MD and the person will be the senior figure within the organisation. The key deliverables for the role will be to:
Continue to develop our commercial and technical offer to the sector. Be the customer-facing representative during project scoping meetings with our clients to produce safe, acceptable solutions within budget and time constraints that provide a profitable return. Provide technical and subject matter expertise and input to our nuclear-based activities. Manage our supply chain to deliver to an agreed plan without compromising safety or quality. Provide line management and coaching to team leaders and members. Produce key project deliverables such as project scope documents, schedule and cost estimates, work scope documents, risk assessment and method statements. Meet project milestones through planning, monitoring and the timely review of schedules. Ensure key performance targets are met, and that projects are delivered safely, on time, snag-free to a delighted customer who would recommend us for future work. Provide progress reports and maintain appropriate records for safety, contractual or quality purposes as defined in the project work scope/deliverables. Ensure that all requirements are maintained for personnel assigned to projects. Develop and manage customer relationships; we grow by delighting customers and being recommended for future projects.
You will have a minimum of a
BTEC HNC
in construction, engineering or applied science and experience of delivering successful projects within the nuclear sector. #J-18808-Ljbffr
