38,000- 40,000 per annum JHP Recruitment are seeking a diligent and skilled Technical Manager to join our Food Manufacturing client based in Swindon, Wiltshire on a full-time, permanent basis.
As Technical Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring food safety and quality excellence throughout the sourcing, manufacturing and distribution of a range of products. Main Accountabilities: Promote cross-functional collaboration to ensure food safety and quality throughout all teams Provide leadership and direction to the site technical team Drive a risk-based approach to managing food safety, ensuring compliance with customer policies and external certifications Manage internal audits to drive continuous improvement Maintain quality management systems and ensure compliance with BRC and retailer codes of practice Maintain and evolve the quality management system in line with industry advances and customer requirements Coordinate and lead all customer visits and audits Build strong relationships with customers to meet their needs and develop quality plans Collaborate with commercial teams to handle customer complaints and queries effectively Define and implement food safety and quality learning and development Skills & Qualities Required: Degree or equivalent in Food Science or related discipline Experience in FMCG, with team management experience HACCP Level 3 qualification in retailer quality systems Knowledge of BRC compliance and audits Strong project management skills If you think this could be the perfect role for you, please apply here or call Tasha at JHP Recruitment.
