Fire and Rescue Services, Emergency Medical Services (EMS), Search and Rescue (SAR), Emergency Response ROLE:

Technical Operations Lead - Confined Space Rescue As Technical Operations Lead with expertise in Confined Space and Technical Rescue, you will oversee and manage all aspects of rescue operations. Provide comprehensive technical and logistical leadership to ensure the effective delivery of confined space rescue services. You will guide clients on confined space safety, rescue provision levels, and operational decision-making, while preparing and updating essential documentation such as risk assessments, method statements, rescue plans, and operational guidelines. You will report to the Technical Operations Manager and work closely with the sales and coordination teams to build and maintain strong client relationships. Conducting site audits, including health and safety assessments, will form a key part of your role, as will supporting the assessment and processes for operational teams. EXPERIENCE:

Technical Operations Lead - Confined Space Rescue You should have experience in Confined Space Rescue, with a strong understanding of Risk Assessments and Method Statements preparation and confined space consultancy. Strong leadership and excellent communication skills are essential. A valid UK Driving Licence is required as the role necessitates visiting sites primarily across the Southeast and London regions. Relevant certifications in technical rescue are desirable, with opportunities for additional training and certifications as required. Credentials such as Certified Technical Rescuer (CTR) and accreditations with the Fire Industry Association (FIA) or National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) are highly regarded.
