Job Description Organon is hiring a

Technical Operations Lead

to join our world-class manufacturing site in Cramlington, Northumberland. In this role, you will provide technical support for packaging processes, coordinate process improvement projects, and manage the introduction of new or transferred products. You will also lead strategies for process and cleaning validation activities, train and develop team members, and support quality systems and compliance initiatives. Additionally, you will oversee financial aspects, including the maintenance budget and capital plan. At our UK Cramlington site, we are investing in new packaging technologies and have launched a multimillion-pound project to build a new packaging hall, which will house several new packaging lines. While we are excited about our future, we remain focused on compliance and safety as top priorities. Role Responsibilities: Provide technical support for packaging processes and coordinate process improvement projects. Coordinate the introduction of new or transferred products, including equipment specification, testing, qualification, and validation. Investigate and resolve laboratory deviations, proposing actions to minimise rework and improve process capability. Lead and develop strategies for process and cleaning validation activities, including validation protocol preparation and sampling oversight. Train and develop Technical Operations team members and educate other departments on their roles and responsibilities. Manage the team within the performance management system, including coaching, mentoring, and conducting 360 appraisals. Support quality systems and compliance initiatives and lead cross-functional teams for specialist topics. Oversee financial aspects, including the maintenance budget and capital plan, ensuring effective management. Qualifications, Skills & Experience: Demonstrable experience in pharmaceutical packaging, preferably in a process support environment. Degree in Science or Engineering Discipline or equivalent. Proven technical communication and influencing skills. Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment. Project management skills in a lean manufacturing environment. Analytical approach to problem-solving and ability to manage multiple priorities.
