An exciting opportunity to join the Technical Team of a major paint brand specialising in Automotive, Industrial, Military and Commercial Transport Sectors. As Technical Consultant, your primary responsibility is to provide on-site technical consultancy and training. Provide technical support to Refinish, Industrial Coatings, and Commercial Transport sectors. Carry out new product demonstrations in a structured and well-organised manner to internal employees. Support technical specifications by evaluating product systems and providing presentation samples in the form of Sprayout panels to laboratory standard with detailed and concise reports supporting results. Design new and develop existing working practices that set new standards of process and efficiency. Deliver reporting requirements in a timely manner. Support the introduction of new products. Provide and determine technical product features and benefits. Create visual sales aids to assist with product launch internally. Present new products to the sales team on the basis of show and tell. Provide colour matching service and IT updates via TeamViewer or similar platforms. Occasional site visits to support training. Qualifications: Previous extensive experience in the paint industry, with refinish experience in either Automotive or Industrial sectors. Strong knowledge of paint products, application techniques, surface preparation, and troubleshooting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to diverse audiences.
