Technical Production Manager – Venue London £35,000 - £40,000 + An amazing opportunity to take your career to the next level and manage some fantastic technical productions! THE COMPANY Our client, a well-established and successful registered charity with several impressive venues across the South, has been going through an exciting period of expansion over the last few years. The charity’s venues host a huge variation of events across the year – from pantomimes to huge high-profile stars, they see a whole mix come through their venues doors! This role will be based from their London venue, with a number of multi-purpose spaces for their events and live shows and productions. THE ROLE As they continue their period of expansion, they are looking to add a Technical Production Manager to help them deliver their busy events and productions schedule. From technical planning and working closely with clients on briefing, to managing and overseeing a technical team at live events – you will have a broad remit and will also be hands-on when needed! This role will see you play a crucial role in the delivery of the events schedule. Key responsibilities for this role include: Lead on production operations – from team management to equipment hire. Be a key leading point of contact for upcoming events. Manage and co-ordinate the team of technicians. Lead on ensuring health and safety is adhered to at all times. Step-in for the senior leadership team when needed. THE CANDIDATE The ideal candidate will have strong experience within the technical production and delivery of live events. Hands-on, working knowledge of different AV disciplines including staging, live sound and lighting is a highly important element and having the ability to manage a busy production team. Strong knowledge of health and safety management is a key factor in this role – and you will have strong experience overseeing the safe delivery of events.
