Job Description

Our client has developed the next generation of Tensor Processing Units. Custom-designed AI accelerators, which are optimised for training & inference of large AI models. With working prototypes already, they are now looking to scale the business as quickly as possible. We’re looking for an experienced & driven Technical Program Manager to oversee the execution & delivery of our clients’ technical programs. This role is critical to ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, & aligned with our company’s core values of speed & simplicity. As a Technical Program Manager, you will work across multiple teams, ensuring clear communication, collaboration, & execution of projects. Role:

DOE / Competitive + benefits The role: Own & manage the full lifecycle of technical programs, from inception to delivery, ensuring that they align with company goals & deliverables. Drive our core values of velocity & simplicity across teams, optimizing processes to enhance speed without compromising on quality. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware, software, embedded systems, & optical engineers, to ensure alignment on project objectives & deliverables. Develop & maintain detailed project plans, timelines, & roadmaps, ensuring clarity for all stakeholders. Track progress, identify risks, & implement solutions to mitigate any potential delays or roadblocks. Facilitate regular status updates, sprint planning, & retrospectives to maintain transparency & accountability across teams. Work closely with leadership to provide clear visibility into program status, budget, & resource allocation. Ensure timely communication between teams, management, & external stakeholders to maintain alignment on project goals & outcomes. Lead post-project reviews to identify lessons learned & implement continuous improvements for future initiatives. Skills & Experience: 5+ years of experience in technical program management, preferably within hardware or AI-focused industries. Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional technical projects from conception through delivery. Strong understanding of engineering processes, especially in hardware, software, & embedded systems development. Demonstrated ability to drive velocity & efficiency within technical teams while simplifying processes & removing unnecessary complexity. Excellent project management skills, including experience with Agile methodologies & tools (JIRA, Confluence, etc.). Exceptional communication & leadership skills, with the ability to influence & guide cross-functional teams. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues & proactively resolve them to keep projects on track. Experience in high-growth, fast-paced environments is highly desirable.
