We’re looking for a highly skilled Technical Program Manager to help our Product, Design & Engineering department continue building great products efficiently as we scale. About the role As a Technical Program Manager, you will drive and deliver initiatives that have a real impact on processes, systems and people at DICE, with a focus on managing departmental projects, commercial arrangements and frameworks that will help the Product, Design & Engineering team on delivery effectiveness. You will also be the technical team’s biggest advocate, running initiatives that will improve all aspects of their experience and bring those projects to fruition - from onboarding to tooling to enhancing engineering excellence. It is an enabling role for the entire department, providing you an opportunity to work with various stakeholders, great visibility across the company and shall encompass evolving areas requiring adaptability as well as strong communication skills.

You’ll be Managing timelines, collaborating with the Product, Design & Engineering Leadership to plan technical execution and evolve our execution cadence. Defining metrics, monitoring and reporting against performance of teams, whilst enabling Squad Leads to progress towards timelines, projected rollout and release plans. Driving and reporting on initiatives that help improve processes and collaboration within the department and outside. Responsible for establishing, tracking, renewing and reporting against commercial frameworks for external suppliers. Coaching for best practices, Agile and other software methodologies to keep delivery teams on track as well as to improve ways of working. Helping to track and report against the Engineering budget as well as finding cost efficiency optimisations. An advocate for risk and security management practices, driving the implementation of key deliverables and mitigation actions. Fostering and initiating engineering excellence related initiatives (ie. Observability, Incident & Support management, etc) for continuous improvement. You are Passionate, humble and talented. A fan of music and culture. Actively responsible. Extremely organised and process-driven. A problem-solver who wants to help teams execute faster and better. Collaborative and an excellent communicator.

You’ll need Solid experience in a technical program management (or equivalent) capacity. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Experience leading initiatives to introduce tools, processes or technologies to multiple teams to improve ways of working and performance. Experience driving programs and initiatives that have brought change in product development within medium or large organisations. Strong drive to work independently, self-prioritising in a fast-paced environment. Experience establishing and managing third-party supplier contracts. Proven track record of running initiatives that improve operational efficiency and department costs. Advanced knowledge of software development lifecycle stages, including how product teams ideate, create solutions, test, deploy, support and iterate. Technical background preferred.
