This is a rare opportunity to join an award-winning, world-renowned designer and manufacturer of virtual production solutions and advanced camera robotics for film, HETV and broadcast. Our Research & Development (R&D) department helps us stay on the cutting edge of virtual production by identifying gaps in the market and innovating new products. As the Technical Program Manager, you will oversee the R&D department and make sure everything runs smoothly. This is a hands-on, strategic position, bringing to life the CEO’s vision for Mo-Sys. You will have the opportunity to drive and guide a multitude of exciting projects, from concept through production. You will work in close collaboration with the CEO, interact with clients, develop processes, implement new product ideas, and effectively manage change to improve efficiency. You will be joining an Agile team, that is dedicated to the development of smart and inspired technology, rapidly changing the future of video production. Mo-Sys is a trend-setter, a disruptive leader and by joining us as the Programme Manager, you will have the opportunity to push boundaries within existing technology as well as developing new technology, to achieve the best all-round solutions. Responsibilities

Drive operational efficiency of the R&D department, while engaging and interacting at an executive level. Manage priorities and influence product roadmaps alongside the CEO, maintaining communication across different teams and multiple layers of the business. Run ‘Scrums’, gathering team feedback, conducting sprint planning, and ensuring that everything is running according to the schedule. Successfully mentoring and developing an Agile team of 30+ Engineers across Electronics, Mechanical Design, Software Development, Machine Learning, and Embedded. Simultaneously drive 15+ projects at any one time, through the process from concept, specifications, prototyping, and subsequent testing to production. Ensure effective communication with Beta Testers and early adopting clients, when implementing prototypes or special projects. Manage level 3 support and provide relevant feedback to clients. Recruit new members of the team, write job specifications, evaluate team capacity, and identify skills gaps. Review team performance and implement individual development plans. Work autonomously and proactively, often managing your own workload. Manage the Engineering department’s annual budget. Requirements

This is a senior position, the ideal candidate will be comfortable with autonomous working, will demonstrate exceptional problem-solving skills, be highly skilled in negotiation and conflict resolution. They will thrive in a rapidly changing environment, showing adaptability and resilience in the face of shifting priorities and challenges. A Masters Degree in relevant field. Extensive experience in R&D; establishing clear project scope, developing technology roadmaps and coordinating cross functional teams to deliver project goals to deadline. Exceptional project management and product development skills. Experience leading R&D and Programme Management activities. An operationally driven leader, engaging and interacting at an executive level. A facilitator, conscious of priority setting, decision making, and quality output. Ability to communicate effectively and consistently, internally and externally, at all levels. A multi-tasker and self-starter, approaching projects proactively. An effective problem solver who thrives under pressure. You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with frequently shifting business priorities and heavy workloads. You effortlessly navigate between technical and non-technical discussions within a cross-functional, multi-level business environment, adapting your communication style to match varying levels of technical understanding and involvement. Your approach to management is that of a mentor, proactively investing time into supporting your team, inspiring loyalty and empowering them to bring their best selves to work. Interview Process

Interviews at Mo-Sys are quite informal and conversational, generally carried out over a three stage process. The final stage usually involves meeting with senior members of the leadership team at our office in North Greenwich, London. To gain insight into your workplace behaviours and preferences, we will invite you to complete a brief Predictive Index (PI) Behavioural and Cognitive Assessment (online) as part of this interview process.
