Technical Programme Manager Intern Salary - £26,000 pro rata Holiday: 5 days What you need - Predicted 2:2 degree Location - Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire Programme start date - 16 June - 22 August 2025 Application deadline: We recruit on a rolling basis, so we encourage you to apply as soon as possible. Role Overview During your 10-week paid summer programme, you will manage plans and work collaboratively with colleagues across the globe on real projects, supported with training to develop your programme skills. You could be planning the rollout of new checkouts to 2000+ stores, coordinating the development of a new payroll system, or working on the development of brand-new mobile apps for our customers. You will be at the heart of decision making, planning and coordinating the development and/or deployment of technology solutions in a safe and sustainable way. You will work collaboratively with multiple teams to find the best solutions for our customers, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, managing risks, creating plans, and tracking progress. A successful internship can guarantee your place on our Technology Programme graduate programme when you graduate. Who We Are Looking For We're looking for interns with a technical understanding, assessed during the application process. Candidates should have the ability to tackle diverse challenges while working collaboratively with their team. Working at Our Welwyn Garden City Campus Our campus is 10 minutes' walk from the centre of Welwyn Garden City with many shops, restaurants, and sports facilities. Close to the A1, and with frequent trains to Finsbury Park in just 20 minutes, the campus is well connected to the surrounding area. On campus, you'll find subsidised restaurants, coffee shops, and a Tesco Express. We also have a collaborative space for colleagues to connect and innovate, as well as an on-site Nuffield Health gym. You'll start by spending time in store, gaining real-life experience in Technology, networking, and developing your skills.
