We have an exciting opportunity for a

Technical Program Manager

who will join our client’s team, a British motorcycle brand delivering exquisite riding experiences. The successful candidate will lead the Engineering activity for a new Vehicle product line to ensure new models are successfully delivered from concept to production.

The

Technical Program Manager

will: Ensure test and validation plans are appropriate to the program, including benchmarking, mule testing and prototype validation. Co-ordinate IT and data management requirements for the engineering function to ensure effective communication with suppliers and partners. Develop and manage the Bill of Materials (BoM) for the program. Ensure that the technical targets and requirements are clearly defined and agreed with all stakeholders and then ensure these are delivered on time and to budget. Manage delivery of Engineering activities from either internal departmental resource or from third party Engineering Service Providers (ESPs), depending on company strategy/resources.

The

Technical Program Manager

will have: Prior experience in the motorcycle industry is essential. Ability to present program delivery information clearly and concisely at a level appropriate to the target audience. Highly organised with excellent attention to detail across multiple workstreams. Experience in leading the interface between the Engineering delivery team and project management. Working knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and programs including Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
