To be arranged The Role We are looking to recruit a highly skilled Technical Project Manager who will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering software/hardware development projects according to specifications and deadlines, including tracking development activities. You will also be required to apply your knowledge of how technology and data can help underpin improved service delivery to reshape the Council’s frontline services and workforce. The Technical Project Manager will be integral in supporting the Head of ICT Strategy and Operations. The successful candidate will have a diverse and stimulating workload, which will include: helping to implement Microsoft 365 across the Council, supporting the Council’s Directorates to adopt AI technologies securely, and improving engagement with residents through a digital experience programme. About You You will be an exceptional leader who will create an environment and culture of continuous improvement putting the customer experience at the heart of service delivery. You will also be required to oversee multiple complex technical projects and be responsible for the appropriate governance, risk & issue management, financial controls, change management. You will also ensure the smooth transition from project to business-as-usual so the service is equipped to provide high quality support to our customers. You will support Digital Tameside to achieve the Councils Digital Strategy with the aim of improving digital services for the residents of Tameside.
