The

Technical Project Manager

is responsible for leading project teams building engineered technical system solutions. The position will need to ensure collaboration and alignment with mid-size to large projects.

This role is engaged from the early phase quotation process of the initiative through design, validation, and delivery of the engineered system. You will be expected to work independently to establish priorities and activities needed for the project team to successfully meet the project objectives.

This position is part of the operations team and will be

based onsite in Portsmouth . Delivering Filtration & Separation Capital equipment Projects on time, to Budget, with high quality through diverse global teams, meeting all customer requirements.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Manage all phases of the project, with technical assistance from engineering, including pre-ordering sales support contract review of orders.

Define project planning using Visual Project Management and daily management.

Ensure clear communication and the ability to report project progress to leadership teams. Maintain a technical understanding of the job done by your team members in their area of expertise.

Ensure delivery of the project, on time, on budget and to the quality standards expected by our customers. Evaluate planning and technical risk, take decisions and ensure countermeasures are in place on time. Follow-up, check, challenge and support project suppliers’ progress.

Keep external sales personnel and our customers informed of the progress of the project from initiation to completion. Hold project team members accountable for meeting their timelines. Follow-up, check, challenge and support team members.

The essential requirements of the job include:

Bachelor’s degree in chemical or mechanical engineering or relevant discipline.

Proven

project management experience .

Understanding and experience of Supplier Management. Project Management Execution.

Knowledge of

Major Static Equipment Manufacturing Processes .

Working in and with a

global industrial supply chain .

Experience with

SAP

(PS Module) preferred.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

Ability to travel – 30% travel, overnight, within territory or locations.

Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

Knowledge of Packaged equipment and skid manufacturing and assembly.
