Technical Project Manager. The Technical Project Manager delivers a professional and consistently high-quality project management and customer service in the SME Project Management team for our IT & Telecommunication customers. They focus on technically complex projects and provide technical support/expertise on project delivery as well as managing customer expectations, coordinating resources, and managing costs. Principal Responsibilities/Duties Review customer requirements as presented by the sales team and clarify and/or challenge as appropriate to kick off the project within the agreed SLA. Develop appropriate and detailed plans for each project involving all relevant resources. Execute the project plan ensuring clear and regular communication, with appropriate engagement of all necessary departments involved while continually ensuring an exceptional customer experience. Provide technical support on projects and complete technical elements of the project, updating key IT systems for a smooth transition into our service desk. Track project progress, including forecast, appointed and completion dates to ensure projects are delivered as per the requirements and within the agreed timeline. Review feedback from customers and engineers (including surveys and job sheets) to ensure requirements are met and report any scope or assumption changes back to the account manager and customer. Minimum Qualifications Experience of leading technically complex projects with end-to-end project management of large, multi-site projects. Technical background with solid understanding of telephony or IT Services. Project Management experience with the ability to manage technically complex projects. Expertise in developing and leading on project plans, forecasting and tracking to budget, with demonstrable experience of bringing projects to successful conclusion. Act as a technical expert/consultant to high value customers on complex or large sale projects. Detail-oriented with the ability to follow processes, define best practices, and drive continuous improvement across the Project Team and Operations function. Proficiency in MS Word & Excel, maintaining clear and accurate project, customer, and task information.
