Due to an increase in orders and continued growth we have exciting opportunities for an experienced Technical Sales Advisor to join a people-focused manufacturing business within Barnsley, on a full-time, permanent basis. You will be working in a friendly team of 7 while reporting into the Sales Manager.
Duties within the role of Technical Sales Advisor will include:
Providing technical support and advice to potential customers. Producing technical proposals, compiling sales documents, presentations, and cost comparisons. Managing current customer accounts and nurturing customer relationships. Proactively identifying potential new sales leads within the industry. Identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell when liaising with customers. Building new connections with new or existing customers via email or phone. Liaising with the engineers to gain better knowledge of the product status.
The ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate previous industry experience working within a technical manufacturing business with knowledge surrounding lifting equipment, mechanical handling solutions, hoists, or lifting chains. This could be as a Field Sales Person, Sales Account Manager, or Internal Sales Representative.
The successful Technical Sales Advisor will:
Hold LEEA qualifications. Have a great understanding and knowledge of chain lifting, hoists, and associated equipment. Have a strong sales background within engineering or manufacturing. Be able to use Microsoft Office 365. Show a positive attitude to learning about products. Be able to pay close attention to detail.
