Technical Sales Engineer

to drive business development and cultivate relationships with customers around the world. As a

Technical Sales Engineer , you will: Develop Business Opportunities : Identify, engage, and create new sales opportunities across target markets. Provide Technical Solutions : Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and design solutions based on Insensys' advanced fibre optic strain, load, pressure, and vibration sensing systems. Drive Sales : Build relationships with key stakeholders, present the benefits of our systems, demonstrate hardware capabilities, and negotiate contracts to secure successful deals. Collaborate Internally : Work with engineering, finance, and production teams to align customer requirements with Insensys’ technical and commercial capabilities. Report Progress : Maintain accurate sales forecasts and provide regular updates on pipeline development. What We are Looking For: Strong technical communication skills, including explaining complex issues to non-native English speakers. Ability to adapt messaging for different audiences, from engineers to senior executives. Commercial awareness with the ability to create and present compelling business cases. Networking and research skills to identify opportunities and stay ahead of market trends. Proven ability to build and nurture long-term customer relationships. Personal Attributes Curious, creative, and highly motivated with a passion for innovation. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. Willingness to travel internationally. Education & Experience A degree in a Science or Engineering discipline. A proven success in a similar technical sales or business development role. Experience in fibre optics or sensor measurement techniques (strain, load, vibration, pressure) is advantageous. Why Join Insensys?
